About Us

We believe inTechnology for Good

We’re a group of digital veterans across industries who decided it was time to do something about the hate and damage produced by people hiding behind the anonymity of social media. 

It started with Serena Williams

Our team, initially focused on advertising, was appalled by the barrage of racist and sexist comments towards Serena Williams on one of her posts during the 2019 U.S. Open. This was more than a wake-up call; it was our call to action. Recognizing a moral and business imperative, we leveraged our technology to tackle online toxicity.

It evolved into safety for brands

We know we can’t address every dark corner of social media at once, so we decided to start with businesses that have the problem and can invest in solving it. Millions of moderated comments later, we feel we’re off to a good start.
